Northern Territory GiovernmentDefence of Darwin Experience

Do you have a story to tell about yourself or a family member who was in Darwin during World War II? Then visit the Defence of Darwin Experience's StoryShare kiosk.

The StoryShare video recording kiosk is simple to use. Just follow the prompts, agree to the terms and record. If you don’t like the final footage you have the option to delete and start again.

The Defence of Darwin Experience moderate all contributed stories, and those approved for public viewing will be placed on the StoryShare touchscreens, located opposite the recording kiosk. They may be used in future Northern Territory Government institutions where appropriate.

Not able to visit Darwin, but have a story important to the Northern Territory’s World War II history? Contact the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory to discuss other ways to tell your story.
