Northern Territory GiovernmentDefence of Darwin Experience

Donations

Interested in donating historical material relating to the Northern Territory’s World War II history? The Defence of Darwin Experience is interested in acquiring material and objects related directly to the Northern Territory’s World War II history.

Potential donors are requested not to send material directly to a collecting institution without first discussing the matter with a relevant staff member. Initial contact can be made either by mail, email, fax or telephone.

All potential donations will be assessed against a series of criteria prior to any decision being made. Not all material will meet these guidelines and there are no guarantees that an institution will accept the material. In some cases the collecting institution may refer a potential donor to a more appropriate institution.
